THE PLANTING OF SEA BUCKET TREES
Our sea buckthorn plantation, made up of more than 4,500 trees, is located in Tingwick, near Victoriaville, in the Bois-Francs region of Quebec. Planted in 2012, our sea buckthorn trees are gradually waking up in the Quebec sun, transforming more and more the landscape of our lands into an ocean of orange berries, waiting for more than to be harvested and transformed.mées every year to the delight of Quebec consumers. The adventure began in 2017 when a friend told me about the existence of fauxmages created in connection with vegan food but also for people who are lactose intolerant. Being from Warwick, we cheeses know it! Curious, I began my research on the making of vegan cheese in the world. In a video, aune false mom states that one day someone will end up making fauxmages with the same taste and texture as real cheese. The challenge was on!!
We quietly begin our first production of fauxmages while looking for constant improvement. In 2018, we are putting on the market a fermented cashew fauxmage made up of natural plant flavors that we have developed. This range has been around for 2 years already and we thank our beautiful customers for making it a success!
With the arrival of the Covid in our lives in 2020, we must review all of the logistics of our products. This brings us to the creation of a whole new range of fauxmages for cooking! We discover fauxmages that melt and brown like real cheese! This new process will reveal a whole host of new fauxmages on our plates! From the famous Mozzarella through Swiss, Cheddar, Parmesan, up tosqu’with goat cheese, Brie or spreadable vegan cheeses, we create delicious and realistic fauxmages.
